US congressional workplaces have been warned versus setting up the Chinese AI app DeepSeek, Axios reported on Thursday, citing a notification provided by the chief administrative officer of the US Legislature.
According to Axios, the notification stated, “At this time, DeepSeek is under review by the CAO and is currently unauthorized for main House usage.”
The introduction of DeepSeek, a low-cost Chinese AI model, has raised issues about its possible to challenge the marketplace dominance of AI giants like OpenAI and Alphabet’s Google.
