Large quantities of unlicensed medicines have actually been taken by Department of Health officials throughout a search of a home in Glengormley.
A man was talked to by department officers about illegally importing and subsequently providing unlicensed impotence via the web.
The 47-year-old was also questioned about other medication offences.
He will now be the subject of a report to the Public Prosecution Service.
The search was carried out by the department’s Medicines Regulatory Group.
Its senior enforcement office, Peter Moore, said: “It is crucial that we get the message across that unlicensed medicines can be harmful.
“These types of products being sold, usually online, have actually undergone no quality assurance and there can be no guarantee about their security.
“You just do not understand what you are taking or the conditions these products were made in. More importantly, you do not understand the impact drugs like this may have on your health.”
